WHAT IS FRIENDS OF JONES?
Friends of Jones is the parent and guardian-run, non-profit organization, that supports Jones College Prep as an institution of academic excellence. The Friends of Jones mission is to build community, engage volunteers and raise funds to support the many outstanding opportunities at Jones with a focus on the development and experiences of the “whole” student.

VOLUNTEER
Volunteering is a great way to meet other members of the Jones Community, while giving back to the school. Friends of Jones coordinates volunteer opportunities throughout the year that require the help and support of our entire Friends of Jones family. Volunteer events will be shared throughout the school year so make sure you're CPS approved so you can be ready to go.

Joneswear Online Fulfillment and Pop-ups – shifts for fulfillment are flexible and for pop-ups are during JCP events and sometimes during the school day.

1/16 SENIOR LOCK-IN
Volunteers are needed to chaperone the Senior Lock-in on Friday, January 16th, from 5-9pm. Seniors are hosting this event to spend time with their peers, eat snacks, play games, and bond as a class.

GET CPS APPROVED & BE READY TO VOLUNTEER
CPS requires volunteers that have regular student-facing interactions to be CPS approved every school year. This is an easy 2-step process:
- Complete a quick volunteer application (level 2 if suffice)
- drop off a copy of your ID in the Jones office

If you are a staff member requiring volunteers for your Jones event, please fill out the Volunteer Request Form and submit it to Friends of Jones. We ask that the form be completed and submitted 1 month prior to the event date. NOTE: FOJ only gathers volunteers for school sponsored events (excludes class field trips).
