Friends of Jones is the parent and guardian-run, non-profit organization, that supports Jones College Prep as an institution of academic excellence. The Friends of Jones mission is to build community, engage volunteers and raise funds to support the many outstanding opportunities at Jones with a focus on the development and experiences of the “whole” student.

TRANSFORMING THE JONES COURTYARD - ONE BRICK AT A TIME!
Thank you for your support of the Jones Courtyard Transformation Project! The initial round of engraved bricks is now installed; the turf looks beautiful; the electrical work and painting are complete; and the new furniture has arrived. In the next few months, the plaques will be added to the furniture, and the 2nd round of bricks will be installed. We appreciate your continued involvement and generosity.

our 2026-27 project is TO REVITALIZE the Library
Each week, nearly 2,000 students gather in the Library to study, collaborate, and grow. Today, this vital space is in urgent need of renewal—and we are asking for your help.
Our goal is to transform the Library into a vibrant, modern hub that reflects the needs of our students. This includes:
- Refurbishing 48 well-worn armchairs that are currently stained, torn, and broken
- Creating new shared workspaces that foster collaboration and creativity
- Upgrading OUTDATED technology so our students have access to the tools they need to succeed in a 21st-century world
