WHAT IS FRIENDS OF JONES?
Friends of Jones is the parent and guardian-run, non-profit organization, that supports Jones College Prep as an institution of academic excellence. The Friends of Jones mission is to build community, engage volunteers and raise funds to support the many outstanding opportunities at Jones with a focus on the development and experiences of the “whole” student.

All parents and guardians of Jones students are Friends of Jones! There are no membership fees or volunteer requirements, but we do encourage all student families to get involved in a way that works for your student and family to help build a strong and vibrant community at Jones.

Meetings are the 2nd or 3rd Monday of each month from 6-7:30pm and will be held either virtual via zoom or in-person at the library at Jones College Prep.

OUR IMPACT
Friends of Jones raises funds to provide grants to support all aspects of our students’ experience at Jones College Prep. On average, FOJ grants more than $150,000 each year to our community -- students, faculty, clubs, and community.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Friends of Jones Board of Directors hold one-year terms, July 1 – June 30 of each year. Meetings occur at least once each month and all members of the Jones College Prep Community are welcome to attend.
Nominations for the Board are solicited between January and May of each year. If you are interested in serving in a board role, please contact the Executive Committee at Officers@FriendsOfJones.org
